Candle Care

Our candles are produced using soy wax which is made from the oil of soy beans. This makes our candles more sustainable with a cleaner, longer burn time than a petroleum based candle. 

If you follow these candle care tips and show your candle a little tlc it will last for longer and you’ll not be left with any waste.

Taking care of me

When you light me, give me time to form a wax pool all the way to the edge of the jar. This will stop me from tunnelling and if you follow this step each time you’ll use all of me compared to being left with lots of wax around the jar.

Burn me for 3 – 4 hours at a time.

Remember to give me a trim. Each time before you light me trim my wick to around 5mm. This will mean I’ll last for longer. If you see my flame flicker a lot or get too high, my jar is too hot or my wick starts to curl it’s time to blow me out and to trim my wick. 

Remember to keep me away from children and animals – I don’t want to harm anybody.

Please don’t leave me alone or near anything flammable.
